Infrastructure As A Service - Management System
Simplify your dev-ops infrastructure
Demi Brauer, Jeff Chen, Craig Oldfield, Ajithan Jeyam,
Tesfalem Gdey, Dilshani Fernando, Vinay Jaisinghani.

IaaS Management Tool helps the user to simplify the process of generating discipline specific infrastructure. The simple forms with build in optional defaults allow the user to quickly and easily map out what their infrastructure will look like at a high level. Our smart technology will translate these simple requests into a detailed automated configuration file that will do the heavy lifting for the user removing the frustratingly repetitive and at times complex build steps. IaaS Management Tool will handle everything from the infrastructure parameters to the generation of the build configurations, it even provides a handy platform for storing, reviewing and replicating infrastructure allowing businesses to rapidly expand without worry. IaaS Management Tool is a one stop shop for any type of developer or business looking to consolidate and simplify their IT infrastructure requirements. â€‹

From time to time DSTO conduct experiments in which one or more teams works collaboratively or competitively to achieve some goal, or where each team has competing goals (such as to capture the opposing team’s flag). For such experiments they wish to explore the effectiveness of various communication and visualisation technologies, such as a live map view showing the location of other team players, or a TEAMCON interface that gives a commander situational awareness and the ability communicate with team members.

NetGazer IP Traffic Routing Engineering Evaluation
Reliable and robust traffic routes for point-to-point video streaming
Zhe Wang, Domenic Castagna, Raymond Choy, Risdani Wibowo, William Lees.

Getting video footage from a live event to a TV broadcast tower requires a very reliable network link. This project makes use of disjoint path algorithms to find two unique routes through a network with similar lengths, allowing for a special redundancy if one route fails which will have very little noticeable impact on the video being transmitted.

A plugin for the graph visualisation program Gephi was developed to allow visually testing and troubleshooting the algorithm, as well as for use in demonstrating the routing algorithm’s capabilities. Network graphs can be loaded in from the graph database JanusGraph to be used with the algorithm.

ChatX
Connect, share and communicate.
Salman Khan, Matt Mcinnes, Nathan Chamarette, Kathy Micheil, Amuda Ramanathan.

ChatX is a location based communication platform. Anyone using the app can initiate a conversation and other people who co-exist in the locality can view or join the conversation. Users can join a conversation by browsing through their topic of interest in that community. Users also have the privilege to view the various offers in that location.

Our vision for this project is to establish a common hub for both business and client. As a result of this system being implemented, senders will have 100% up to date information regarding the client and the client will be able to update their information without the delay of filling out a form. This will prevent the mail from being double handled and save time and money. As there is not currently a solution other than mail being redirected when it arrives at the wrong address, this will prevent that entire problem from occurring in the first place.

Angus McDonald, Kellie McNaughton, Rayna Li, Sachin Signh, Sehbi Sachdiva.
